Ram has been a follower of Jesus Christ since 2009, when he realized it was only by the Grace of God through the death of His Son on the Cross that he could have a life changing relationship with a Holy God. (For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9)
Coming out of a Jehovah's Witness background, he dove into the Word of God with intensity to understand the truth of His new life in Christ. As he studied the Word of God he realized the error in what he was taught to him throughout his childhood in the JW organization.
After trying to find the right church body to plug into, he and his wife Dawn found Riverside Calvary Chapel in Langley BC. They fell in love with the simplicity in which Calvary Chapel taught through the Word of God each week.
Eventually after moving to Salmon Arm in 2019, God placed a desire in his spirit to start a Bible study that simply went through the Bible verse by verse. The Bible study grew, and then Covid moved the study outdoors where many people began to meet and continued to go through God's Word until a church was formed.
Ram felt called to Pastor full time in 2023 where Calvary Chapel Shuswap was born and continues today.
Pastor Ram is married to his Wife Dawn, and has two Boys (Teyo and Justus). He loves the LORD above all and then.... fishing, fishing, and more fishing.
